Chess in Brussels

Add a place or fix a card

Use this form for a chess place or a recurring tournament in or around Brussels that is missing from the index, or for a card that is wrong or out of date. Players, parents, teachers, club officers and café owners are all welcome to write.

The most useful thing to include is a link: the club's page, a calendar entry, a dated post. Messages are read together at the next revision of the index, compared with that page, and every change that follows is dated in the recent changes.

Your message is about
For a new place: what chess happens there, and on which day. For a mistake: which line of the card is wrong.
Address of a web page, a calendar entry or a post that shows it.
So that the message has a sender; it is never shown on the site.
A phone number or messaging account, if you prefer not to give an email.

Give at least one contact, email or another. It stays private and is used only if a reply is needed.

What happens to the contents of this form is described under privacy and GDPR.

What happens next

  • The message waits with the others until the next revision of the Brussels index.
  • It is then compared with the club's or organiser's own pages; where they confirm it, the card changes and the date goes into the recent changes.
  • If no page supports it, the card stays as it is, with its unconfirmed wording where that applies.
  • You hear back only if you ask for an answer and leave a way to reach you.
